Information for students.

I am open to mentoring students of all levels and backgrounds if you are interested in researching/working on topics aligned with my expertise (e.g., health geography, environmental health, spatial accessibility, spatial data science).

Current UTDallas Students

I am happy to work with undergraduates or graduate students at UTD with similar research interests. Please feel free to send an email or stop by my office to chat! I am happy to work with students from a broad array of disciplines including (but not limited to) computer science, data science, geography/GIS, and public health.

Projects are varied, including:

  • Software development work on GitHub to support open-source software and systems.
  • Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning work to analyze policy and space.
  • Data science and engineering to better model the real-world.
  • Applying spatial data science to real-world issues including public health, transportation, and planning.
