I am open to mentoring students of all levels and backgrounds if you are interested in researching/working on topics aligned with my expertise (e.g., spatial data science, spatial computing, cyberGIS, spatial accessibility).
Current UTDallas Students
I am happy to work with undergraduates or graduate students at UTD with similar research interests. Please feel free to send an email or stop by my office to chat! I am happy to work with students from a broad array of disciplines including (but not limited to) computer science, data science, geography/GIS, and public health. Projects are varied, including:
- Software development work on GitHub to support open-source software and systems.
- Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning work to analyze policy and space.
- Data science and engineering to better model the real-world.
- Applying spatial data science to real-world issues including public health, transportation, and planning.
